What we collect

We only collect what we need to reply to you, deliver our services and understand how the website is used:

• Contact form: your name, business name, email, phone number (optional), website (optional), the services you're interested in and your message.
• Free audit form: your name, email, website address, business type and suburb.
• Emails and calls: anything you choose to tell us when you contact us directly.
• Analytics: if analytics is enabled, anonymous usage data such as pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes or proposals
• Prepare and send the free website audit you requested, and follow up about it
• Deliver and support the services you engage us for
• Understand which pages are useful so we can improve the website
• Meet our legal and tax obligations

Marketing

We don't add you to a mailing list without your consent. If we ever send you marketing emails, each one will identify us and include a simple way to unsubscribe, as required by the Spam Act 2003.

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Analytics and cookies

If enabled, this website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data, and we ask it to anonymise IP addresses. It loads only after you interact with the page or the page has finished loading. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

The website also remembers, in your own browser, whether you've dismissed the offer banner and whether you've already seen the opening animation. These preferences don't identify you and never leave your device.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our business, and they may store data outside Australia (for example in the United States). They're only given the information they need to provide their service:

• Enquiry records: form submissions are stored in a database hosted by Supabase.
• Email delivery: form submissions are sent to our inbox using Resend.
• Email and documents: our business email and file storage provider.
• Analytics: Google Analytics, if enabled.
• Website hosting: the provider that hosts this website.

How we protect it

The website is served over HTTPS, forms include spam protection, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it. We keep enquiries only as long as we need them for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify them.

Please don't send sensitive information (such as health details or passwords) through our website forms.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email us at bluebillstudioo@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
